Bundobust - Manchester

Name: Bundobust
Chain or independent: Bundobust began in Leeds before opening up a new restaurant in Manchester, giving them a total of two restaurants.
Cuisine: Indian Street Food
Price: £ relatively cheap
Out of five: 4/5

Me and Ethan went to bundobust a week ago, I had been once before and hadn't stopped talking about it since.

Bundobust is situated on Piccadilly in Manchester, round the corner from the Northern Quarter. It is an indian street food restaurant based around small plates, there are plates and cutlery on your table so that you dish out and share each plate that you get. Bundobust also specialises in craft beer, unfortunately we didn't get round to trying these.

I really love the feel to this restaurant, it has a lovely atmosphere and as much as it is always busy there are always seats available. When coming into the restaurant you follow a staircase down to some doors which open up into a large spacious area with long tables, brightly coloured walls and posters. Depending on the time of day or how busy the restaurant is,
you either seat yourself or are shown to a seat by the host. (there is a sign on the front desk stating whether to seat yourself or to wait) The restaurant operates on a 'order at the bar' method including drinks and food.

The menu is split up into sections for food:        And for drinks:
1- Beer Snacks                                                     1-Beer
2- Munch                                                             2- Sparkling
3- Additonals                                                       3- White
4- Combos                                                           4- Red
5- Sweet                                                               5- Rose
                                                                             6- Cocktails
                                                                             7- Soft drinks
                                                                             8- Chai

Since Bundobust is an indian streetfood restaurant it works around a vegeterian  and vegan lifestyle, offering all kinds of dishes to please all including those who do eat meat. It is a vibrant eatery with something for everyone. Their meals have a deep flavour to them and you can really taste all of the different spices in each dish.

We ordered:
1- Okra fries
2- Onion, Broccoli and Kale Bhajis
3- Bhel Puri
4-Tarka Dahl and rice
5- Vada Pav
6-Puri x 2
7- Idli

My favourite is the Tarka Dhal and the bhajis.
