A few weeks a go me and a friend went to Carluccios to meet up after not seeing eachother in a while. It was so lovely to catch up and cover everything we may have missed from birthdays to holidays to our boyfriends to work etc;

I have never been to Carluccios before, I was always under the impression that it was too expensive and pretentious. I looked at the menu online and saw that they had a fair amount of vegan options. We decided to come here, and I was defiantly surprised! Immediately we were welcomed by a lady on the door and seated, the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. After a few minutes we ordered some drinks, we got a glass each of white wine which is vegan friendly and just some table water. I ordered a creamy pasta with courgette, tomato and pine nuts. The dish was really flavourful and a good portion of pasta, I find that whenever I order pasta for my meal in restaurants it is always a small portion and I leave hungry - this was the perfect amount!

After we had our mains, we ordered some desserts. I had a vegan tart with a raspberry coulis on the side, so delicious! I was really impressed, the tart wasn't crumbly or too heavy, once again it was perfect!

Overall, I really enjoyed it here! Perfect for meals out with family or friends that are not vegan so that there is an option for everyone. I have already told Ethan that we have to go back, I think he would really love it here. The menu was clearly labelled to say what was Vegan (VG) and also highlighted any other allergies and intolerances.
